The program

BetterBudget is a product of BeckTech LLC. BetterBudget text alerts are account alerts about your own money, sent only to a mobile number you add and verify yourself, and only after you agree to receive them.

What we send

We text you the alerts you turn on in Settings, about your own account. Today texts go out only for a 0% promo rate about to end and a spending category over its monthly target. Every alert text starts with "BetterBudget:" and ends with "Reply STOP to opt out." When you verify your number, we also send one text confirming you signed up (shown below).

How you opt in

Text alerts are off until you turn them on. In Settings > Channels > Text alerts, enter your mobile number, tick the box, and enter the code we text you. Only a number proven yours with that code ever gets alerts, and only US and Canadian mobile numbers are accepted.

Text alerts

By adding your number, you agree to receive account alert texts from BetterBudget at this number. Message frequency varies, up to 5 per day. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS terms and Privacy Policy.

After "Text me a code", the member types the code we texted to that number. Only a code that matches saves the number.

Once the code matches, Settings shows the number, all but its last four digits hidden, with a switch to turn texts off and a way to remove the number.

Stopping texts, and help

Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Reply HELP to any text for help. You can also turn text alerts off, or remove your number, in Settings at any time. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Privacy
